Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how ConvertLoops, operated by Digital Gravity, Inc. ("we", "us", or "ConvertLoops"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect three categories of information.
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a password hash. When you subscribe, we receive a customer identifier from our payment processor (Polar); we do not store full payment card details.
Customer content. When you use the service, you may upload or generate content including pages, forms, contacts, email recipients, and email content. This content is stored on your behalf.
Visitor tracking data. When you install the ConvertLoops tracker on a website you operate, the tracker collects events that occur on that website. These events include:
- Page views (URL and page title)
- Scroll depth thresholds (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
- Clicks on phone-number, email, and outbound links
- Form-submit events — structural metadata only, including the form's destination URL, the count of fields, and whether the form contains an email or phone field. The tracker does not capture or transmit the values typed into form fields.
To distinguish visitors across pages of the same site, the tracker sets a first-party cookie named cl_vid (one-year expiry) and uses sessionStorage to track session continuity within a browser session. No third-party cookies are set by the tracker.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the service for you.
- Process subscription payments and prevent fraud.
- Send transactional email related to your account (billing notices, payment failures, renewal reminders, security alerts).
- Provide customer support.
- Improve the service.
We do not sell personal information.
3. How We Share Information
We share information with the following categories of service providers, only to the extent necessary to operate the service:
- Polar — subscription billing (merchant of record).
- Resend — outbound email delivery.
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DNS.
- Neon — database hosting.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
4. Cookies
We use the following cookies:
- A session cookie scoped to
.convertloops.comfor authenticated access to the dashboard. This is set when you log in and cleared when you log out. - A first-party tracker cookie named
cl_vidset on websites operated by our customers when they install the ConvertLoops tracker. This is set by the customer's site, not by us, and is governed by the customer's own privacy policy.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
5. Data Retention
We retain account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to handle support and legal obligations.
We retain customer content for as long as you keep it in the service. You can delete content at any time.
We retain visitor tracking events according to the retention configured on your account. Event rejection logs are retained for 30 days.
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the information associated with it within 90 days, except as required by law.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
7. International Transfers
ConvertLoops is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and notify active customers by email if the changes are material.
10. Contact
For questions about this Privacy Policy or our handling of personal information, email [email protected].
